David Kevin Weaver is an artist and photographer. Largely self-taught, he combines his love for beauty, order and symmetry with the power of nature for this body of work. His gently surreal flower portraits mirror the face of a flower, rendering a balanced expression that is strong, gentle and beautiful.
For this body of work, high-resoltution digital images of each flower were shot in studio using Leica camera equipment. All images were developed in Adobe Lightroom, using Adobe Photoshop only to produce the final tiff image.
